Exciting News: Meet Our New Canine Companion Puppy, Fifty!

Dear Parents and Families,

We are thrilled to share some heartwarming news! Our school has partnered
with Canine Companions, a nationally recognized organization that trains
and provides service dogs to children, adults, and veterans with disabilities —
completely free of charge.

As part of this partnership, we have the incredible opportunity to sponsor and
help raise a future service dog puppy right here in our school community!
It costs 50K to raise a future service dog, and we have the opportunity
to help with some of the costs.

Through this program, our students will learn valuable lessons in
responsibility, compassion, service, and community outreach as they help
support the puppy’s journey from playful pup to life-changing companion. The
experience connects beautifully with our mission to nurture hearts that serve and to live out the values of
kindness and stewardship.

We’ll be sharing updates and photos as our puppy grows and learns, and students will have opportunities to
interact with Fifty and additional service dog, Koogle, as they will be visiting us on a regular basis throughout
the school year!!!

We would love to see every child contribute toward the costs of raising our puppy, Fifty. It takes all of us
working together to make great things happen and no monetary amount is too small or too large.

Please send in your contribution c/o Mrs. Pilla in an envelope marked with your child’s name and
amount of donation.
